The Sustainable Christmas Tree Dilemma

Link
It's hard finding a good tree. And by that I mean 'good'. As well as nice. I'm not really a fan of plastic ones. And everything after that seems a bit naff and/or sort of soulless. So I turned my hand to one instead. Which seems much better. You can bung your old fairy lights inside. Then when you're done, roll it up or recycle it. Nice.

Xmas 2009

After years of wrapping presents more and more extravagantly, my family have sort of started to expect paper masterworks each Christmas. But this year was basically just about me trying to use up the mound of coloured paper I seem to have amassed. At first I wanted sickeningly clashy colour combinations. But that's strangely more difficult than it sounds. Pink, brown and green actually look alright together. Anyway, what with the faux-reptile skin paper used in December birthdays, they turned out quite tasteful. Damn! Still, my Dad liked them. Awww.
